OT- Lost Post - When typing post highlights and disappears. Happened to you?

Okay so have you ever typed up a whole post or been part way through typing your post and all of a sudden everything gets highlighted then disappears?

I know this has happened to me in the past and is very very frustrating because now all the emotions you poured into writing the orginal post have been lost and you find yourself to exhausted to try and even recapture them.

I know you all know what I am talking about.
Well I am here to hopefully stop that from happening to you ever again.

Say you are typing away and the next thing and everything highlights and bam it is gone.

STOP! Don't panic! Don't hit your browser back or exit. Simply right click your mouse and hit undo and it will all reappear!

I learned this the hard way and then laughed when I realized how simple it was to save my sanity with just the right click of a mouse LOL

Hope this helps someone out there

This is a great tip, I didn't know this.

The sudden *poof* has happened to me, so on the rare occasion that I start getting wordy, I now copy and paste it into Word just in case it goes poof.

Thanks for the tip, it IS frustrating to lose a post that took time and emotion to put together. When I have a lengthy post, I periodically "copy" it so that if I do lose it, I can start again by pasting and continue where I left off. Sort of like "saving" on Word.

Great advice. I type it in word and then copy and paste so I dont lose it. Its happened to me several times. Is there a way to make the quick reply box bigger maybe?
