Any PC gamers on here?
Yeap for the first few months Sober I emerged myself in games, days just disappeared, which is a good thing when the alternative was drinking.
WoW, Elder Scrolls, Commander & Conquer . . . and when I fancy something a bit more laid back online Scrabble!!

I've been game nut since they first appeared on the first home computers in the 80s and have played them ever since. I think I have played pretty much every major PC release, including since it was first released nine years ago World of Warcraft. If you want a game to get lost in that is the one! If you prefer something a bit more hectic and very adsorbing Borderlands 2 is brilliant too.
I started playing shooters - call of duty, farcry, doom 3 etc. They started to get a bit repetitive though, so I'm currently playing the witcher (1). I just bought dishonored and dragon age: origins, which I haven't played yet.

Dragon Age is amazing. Also so is Diablo 3. Isn't The Witcher the dirty one? lol I think my husband played it and then gave it to his dad. I also play the Sims 3 a lot but mostly just because I like decorating the houses, and Sim City. Those online Farming games and get kind of addicting and are really fun but I always felt like I should go do real farming or something so I would buy seeds and then realize I am REALLY not a farmer.

Dishonored is the best game ever! Well, it' s great. Elder Scrolls Online is ok, but I personally don't find it very addicting... and the multiplayer part of the game is not very well designed.
But Diablo alone is probably enough to eat ALL your time. Farming for Cindercoat, or Ice Climbers, or your class set...what can be a better way to waste your weekend? Clan feature is great too.

I like playing social games, haven't played anything single player for 15+ years, at least not for any length of time (get bored when there is nobody to talk to). I just started playing villagers and heroes with my kids. The game is fantastic! Pretty straightforward and easy to learn but it has a very in depth crafting and housing system. It's been a lot of fun so far.
If this is a confessional - played ultima in the 80's. Ultima online 90's (first mmo). WoW, Asheron's Call (1,2), CoH, SWG, SWTOR, Vanguard, guild wars, EvE (spreadsheets in space), and pretty much tried every major other MMORPG.

I tried one or two of those online/tablet games and lost interest - they seem to go on forever and to no particular end.
Can't wait to get stuck into dragon age, I try to play one at a time though
