update for those who are still around and hope to all newbies

Hi all, I can't believe I did not post for over 2 years. I was on here reading though. So just to come out with the good news. I am still sober making it over 3 years (3 years was in February). And by now it is really easier. I am still very vigilant and hope that I will not go down the hell road. Because I know how much better life is without drinking and how the hell can look like. For all of you out there, hang in there there is hope and there are huge awards around the corner.
So what happened in the last 2 years. I found myself. I am a new me. It is unbelievable. I am very happy waking every day thanking my HP for waking me up. I also study now a course of miracles and my mind just keeps expanding. Job wise I am now in a fixed position for life so all money issues are gone. cat wise I have one more addition. She is pure love and I called her angel. Love wise: I learned to love everybody and everything. Every day is a treat fro me since I am out of hell and grateful for everything. And yes I finally surrendered to the divine. For everybody on here: I never believed I would get this far (but hoped) and if I did it you can do it too. The secret is:
Never ever give up. Keep trying untill you succeed!. You can do it. I hope to stay around more often and check in more often. thanks for SR to keep my ID and password . Just thought I should give a quick update!

Believe it or not in the beginning I could not fill the time with things to do and was bored out of my mind. Now after all this time I have so many things to do that I am always asking mys elf how I found the time even to drink. My days are filled with laughter and fun and I fall to bed so tired most of the times that going to the liquor store would be impossible and even finding the time to sit and get drunk is impossible. And if I would do this I could not have enough time the next day to do the things I am doing now. so life is blowing me away and without SR I would not have been able to do this. You guys helped me so tremendously. Any newcomer! Stick around here and sooner or later you will get sober and nobody is lost here!

What kind of job is that? Judge? Politician? Im guessing a government-type job??

I know this is somewhat off-topic, but given the state of the economy the curiosity is just killing me
