Looking for anything to help, hence joining this site.
Any advice or tips are appreciated.

Hi Flyprincess - welcome!

I think support really helps. This community certainly saved me.

Feel free to look around, ask as many questions as you like

What sort of help are you looking for right now?

Early recovery can be a bumpy ride sometimes but it does get better.

Welcome! I used that word "raw" myself after one of my epic first(or second)-week cryfests.

Have a look around, or post your particular issue...it's common to be a big ole bundle of nerves and emotions all over the place. Totally part of the withdrawal.

Hang in there, don't try to medicate it by using. It gets better.

Pleased to meet you flyprincess - you're going to find helpful support & encouragement here.

It's still early days for you, but things will get much easier as you heal. You've made a great decision - be proud of yourself.

Hi flyprincess - I hear you with that 'raw' feeling. Felt as if I was turned inside out all day yesterday.

I'm Day8 myself and have enjoyed the laughs and smiles that the SR forum posts have brought into my life tremendously. Celebrating the successes vicariously.

This will pass Better days to come for sure!

Oh, and I suggest checking out LBrains' advice for Seanfox on the thread from yesterday: "A Bit of an Odd dilemma" (if you have not already)...

Today I responded to a colleague "No thanks, Doctors orders" in Russian and totally cracked myself up. Hah hah! SR insider joke. I'll have to give props to LBrain for that bit.

Take care. Keep posting. We are all here with you.

I just joined this group myself although I read threads before joining. It really helps. I'm just starting my 4th month. It was tough in the first few weeks, like time was moving in slow motion. And I felt exhausted and kinda sick (like dizzy and brain foggy). It's gotten much better. It's still hard...but I am feeling so much better physically that I am more motivated to keep at it. The encouragement and advice I've read on this site has really helped me. I hope it helps you to o.
