Back to day 2 of sobriety but feel really low. First I thought I was just bored but it's different. I just feel down. I don't have a reason to complain really. Good job kid house etc. I don't know if it's just part of withdrawal and it'll get better or I have some mental problems. Don't know what to do. I know I can't pick up the bottle that's all. Thanks for listening.

I think that relapse takes a real toll on us. It sure did on me and it eroded my dwindling self-respect.

Stick with it and it will get better.

In the meantime, try to do something nice for yourself, maybe listen to some good music.

If you are still feeling low after a reasonable amount of time, a visit to your doctor may be helpful. I see a counselor and it's a big help in keeping an 'even' mood.
