Double Digits Baby

Today is night 10. Feeling good. I have a final walk through on a house my wife and I bought tomorrow. I'm pretty excited.

I had some pretty serious cravings today, but I got past them. I'm not sure why I craved today. I sat at home with my family just hanging out.

Either way, I didn't drink, and I'll be going to bed in a few minutes.

Therapy, AA, and a zero tolerance for alcohol being around me.

This is one of the best plans I've read here at SoberRecovery. You WILL succeed!

Thank you. Unfortunately it took me four months to realize it. But I suppose better late than never. I'm also focusing my attention to working out and getting this beer gut to go away. Exercise is so awesome for alone time to think.

Then there's those of us who are 56 and it's paid off when we're 86'd.

Congratulations on ten days and the new house! Maybe the cravings were from nervousness? I get them when I have something big on the horizon, especially where money is involved. Good on getting past it.
