Good Afternoon,
I am new to this and I am looking for someone just talk to. I have been clean since October 28, 2013. I have been attending a drug program in Oakland for almost 7months and I am almost done with it. I have been looking for other programs that can help me go forward in my recovery so that way I don't fall back into my old behaviors. I just hope I am in the right place and I just hope to get the help I need.

It's great to meet you Craditch. Congratulations on your sobriety. We understand how hard you've worked to get there.
When I found SR it meant so much to have others to talk to about my issues. No one in my life really understood what it was like for me. Not feeling alone any more helped me feel confident and positive. I hope you'll keep reading and posting.

Thank you all for answering back to me. It makes me feel great to know that there are others out there that didn't know were else to go. I am not going to count this as my last stop. I guess I have to keep trucking to find a counselor or a therapist that help me get through the tough rocks that I now I am facing right now. I look forward to hearing from you all again.

I am poly addict I can not touch a thing!
I tried psychiatrists, psychologists, and all sorts of pills, drug centre...
I do not know how I found the site but is the best place we could ever be.
You will learn so much on the site, and tools to get hold of your addiction,
and you will make friends that support you and understands you.
You can go in the Chat room above and talk to people when you need to talk.
And meet great people in the site.
The important thing is that you accept your problem and
that in life there are good and bad moments is natural do not hide it in drugs,
feelings are meant to be there learn to overcome them!
Go to the core why you do it?
Then do something about sorting it out or you will keep going back...
What is it you want in life, what makes you sad, ...???
then trace a plan to achieve what you want and accept what you can not have...
And the cleaner you are the clearer you will be!!!
