Help!
Welcome! Get rid of everything, start drinking some water, and next you should perhaps consider seeking medical attention and advice depending on how long, how much and how often you were/have been drinking. Withdrawals can be life threatening. And you've also come to the right place for support!
I just had another drink. Super incorrigible. Scared my BF would throw it out. I was two weeks sober. I had an idea that this was a problem, but my inability to stop this weekend was a sure sign. I'm really far from my family. These posts are helping. Thanks guys!
There is so much support here. Is your drink all gone? If not, stop and get rid of the rest. It will not help matters.
I think honesty and asking for help may be a good place to start with your boyfriend. Is he supportive? Can he help you?

First take a deep breath and don't do anything drastic like quitting cold turkey without professional medical advice.
Try to calm down, talk to your boyfriend, try to be rational on how you can slowly and safely put the drink down. You can also walk in the ER if it will make you feel safer.

hey rock, the important thing is that you want to stop, when I was first trying to stop I found a thread here from a different forum that gives you tips on how to taper alcohol with alcohol, basically how to stop drinking by drinking! it worked for me, It took me a year almost to slow down from daily drinking to weekend only drinking, and now I haven't drank since February I think.
