Start All Over Again - Dave Koz ft. Dana Glover - YouTube
Dave Koz featuring Dana Glover
I have heard the intro/first verse of this song about 35 times rewatching all the old Desperate Housewives episodes (it's used in the beginning of one episode) but over the weekend I finally took the time to look it up & listen to the entire song.
It took my breath away, it is SO beautiful.... jazzy & bluesy but just gorgeous. The message of hope & how tomorrow always represents a chance for a New Beginning really touched me & made me think of ALL of you here at SR.
I was brought to tears thinking of everyone who is working on leaving an abusive relationship (seems like we've had a lot of new members lately in abusive situations) or struggling to rebuild their lives One Day At A Time, whether as an addict or the F&F of an A. Every one of us who has children involved have days where we beat ourselves up over the decisions that we have made & continue to make & we can be SO hard on ourselves sometimes. And sometimes with all of that on our minds it seems impossible to remember that each new day represents a chance to start over.
I wanted to share in case it touches others the way it touched me.
