I still have those thoughts of remorse when I wake in the morning of not having that nice buzz after work but I have to remind myself that the reason I feel nice and refreshed even after getting 6 hours of OK sleep that I didn't have a bottle in my mouth.

I went to 2 meetings yesterday and there were 3 eye opening stories about people who had lost their jobs because of alcohol. Everyone was very supportive of them and it made me realize how much I have to lose.

I plan on going to another meeting tonight.

I didn't share last night but I feel like tonight I might. I did reach out to a couple of people to introduce myself which I felt good about.

I'm on Day 3 myself.

I haven't been to any meetings yet... not sure if I will. I do realize though that at some point I may have to.

I suppose everyone has there own approach of getting sober. It seems like since I've going to AA for on and off for about a year now that it continues to give me the tools I need to remain sober. So grateful for this site also because I use it while at work ALOT.

I'm on day 3 also....and miss anticipating the buzz I cannot enjoy after work each day. But I feel good other than that!
