Ex won't allow me to talk to her.
My ex who I was with for 26 years and have 3 wonderful daughters with won't let me meet and talk to her. Divorced 14 years. She is not married. I still love her. She came to my home group with kids to see me get my one year medallion. Very supportive but won't meet with me personally to discuss my amends. I am trying to draft a letter to send her. I'd appreciate some direction.
1.)A little background please. Have you worked Steps 1 thru 8 ?
2.) Have you run the amend by your sponsor for his input.
3.) If a letter is all she will accept, why is it imperative that
you do it face-to-face ? The caveat to Step 9 says "except
when to do so would injure others." It seems that would apply
to this lady. She is not on your schedule, she has her own
schedule for healing and apparently wants more time and space.
