"Easter Sunday is a time for kids' egg hunt activities but it's also a moment for reflection. For hundreds of years, death and life symbolize leaving the old self and embracing a new and improved one. From a secular standpoint, Easter represents man's ability to change for the better.
According to the late Joseph Campbell, the myth surrounding death and resurrection came out of early man's farming tradition. A tree dies, its fruits fall into the ground, and the seeds plant new trees. Even in modernity, we can learn a powerful life lesson from this age-old mythology. When we let go of older versions of ourselves, we can begin a new, better chapter in our own lives".
