Money from Heaven?
It's good friday. You have four hungry children, are running out of food, gas tank's almost empty, and you're a long way from home.
You wake at 6 and log on to figure out what dregs might remain in the bank account and how far that might get you.
Then your eyes pop out of your head. There's a new sum in the joint account with your stbxah. Something that was deposited from an external source. Enough to get home, buy groceries for two weeks and pay a few late bills.
You are in a rush. You are tired. You've been working non-stop for weeks. The children are always wanting more food. There is never enough.
You transfer the money into your private account. You buy gas, and drive the children home.
Then what? When xah says you took that money, you say, 'but honey, you told me to take it so the children could eat. Thanks again, things were getting desperate. Happy Easter to you, too.'

my xhusband once won a few thousand dollars in the state lottery....the state sent the check to me because the paperwork showed he was behind on child support....about 6,000.
I cashed it and paid my credit card bills...it took him about 6 months to figure it out. He was NOT behind on support, the state was not up to date...I considered it a "loan" to avoid further interest on my credit cards for a few months....he huffed and he puffed but he did not blow the house down...I then gave HIM a credit card advance check...which looked like a fake check...his face turned quite the shade of purple, but it cleared.
and it was worth it....it is a joint account, your name is on it and he is not going to chase you down for taking what is yours!

Manna.
You know about manna, Pippi?
Manna - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I guess you do now. From the words AND the experience.
Some folks say it means "It is enough."
As far as what to do?
Simple.
Praise God.

who knows..perhaps he had an epiphany of drunken guilt for making his kids go without food, eyeglasses, shoes for so long and their own toys.....Perhaps he was struck by the fickle finger of fate and was trying to make amends?
maybe he was visited by the Ghost of His Life Yet to Come? and decided to see if you would take $$ so he could complain and yowl about it.

Do you know, Fandy, maybe he was visited upon by my dear grandmother, who passed away yesterday morning just 3 weeks shy of her 100th birthday. I loved her so. She understood everything I was going to say before I hardly said anything.
