Well here I sit, stuck.
My mom, who just turned 80 fell and is in the hospital. My brother, who is 95 % of the time a reliable person and the person who helps her out because he is closest, admitted to me that he has a "slight" drinking problem... duh! I've known that for years. He's a binge drinker. To make a long story short, since he'd really stressed over all this as he is the closer sibling, I told him to take a break which he needed. He was supposed to be back first thing tomorrow for a meeting at the hospital concerning discharge. And guess what? I get a call from a bar that he's got a really bad chest cold and isn't going to make it. I'm not really surprised (I learned not to ever count on an A of anytype), but still..... I don't want to do this alone! sigh...
He did the same thing 10 years ago when my dad was ill and during the crisis periods before he died.
Yes, even tho I'm not married to my ex A I still get the quacking from my brother. sigh... oh well. :AR15firin
