Another first....
Another first....
This is going to sound so darn pathetic, but here goes! I am finding I have my balance again. It's like my equilibrium is returning to normal. When I was hungover (which for me was every, single, solitary day) I always felt as though I was going to fall over and couldn't stand or walk for any length of time and only felt "normal" when I started drinking. Strange but true.
I was noticing today when I was prepping for Easter dinner (yeah, I was that bored that I started getting things prepped a few days early) that I was on my feet in the kitchen for a few hours and it felt so good to feel so normal.
Oh, the little things in life that make me happy these days, lol!

You are appreciating the most precious thing in life right now, health.
Nothing more grandiose will come with sobriety other than basic little things we often take for granted.
Other times I quit I expected a big parade with fireworks, money flowing in, all my problems gone. I now realize that just the little things are the big win.
