Mood Swings?

Ok, quitting is a huge hurdle, but I wasn't counting on mood swings, though I'm not surprised for the level at which I abused my body I certainly deserve it! So as I approach 60 days, can I hope for this to fade somewhat??!!

Your body is not punishing you and you don't deserve it. Mind and body are just trying to find equilibrium again. It takes time. Let your mind and body do the healing it needs to do. Xo

Yes, try to be patient and be kind to yourself. It will get better.

Jkirk, 60 days is FANTASTIC, congratulations. The mood swings concerning drinking will fade the longer you stay sober, rootin for ya.

Thanks for the thoughts. For sure, day 3 was my worst, but I am surprised I still have "bad days". Not sure it is right to blame every "off day" on not drinking though . Still hanging tough!
