Post Putting in "The Work"

I have started reading the book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie. Basically, it's about detachment, which we love to talk about when we are struggling with our addicted loved ones. The Work is a journey into ones self by simply asking ourselves four questions. It helps us see things from different perspectives, especially from the viewpoint of the ones we are having the problem with. I urge all of us that struggle with painful and absolute thinking to please read this book! go on YouTube and watch her videos, and go on her website and print the worksheets. It's quite amazing how we get so caught up in our own black and white thinking that we don't get out of our own way to just accept "loving what is".

I tried Byron Katie. I am glad you are liking the work! She looked way too calm to me and I wanted to throttle her photo as I tried to think those 4 questions thru!
