103 Days In.
I intended to post on my 100th day but spaced it, and for good reason, not because I was drunk/hungover. The weather here has been fantastic and I have been able to get out and mountain bike and trail run to my heart's content. At these times, I don't even think about alcohol.
I am so thankful for this site, it has really helped me along the way. I'm feeling stronger every day. In the last 100 or so days, I have done more for myself than I think I have done in my whole life.
Anyway, just checking in. Hope all is well with everyone.

Day 56 here.
Has anyone noticed how time really "slowed down" after you quit? i mean it seems to me my first two weeks were just an ETERNITY. We know that the hours in a day are fixed at 24 hours........ but somehow....... mysteriously........ it seems like 40-70 hours when you are sober. Alcohol really made time fly, now that its out of the picture it seems time is rather....... slow.

I still think quite a lot about sobriety, but not about drinking per se. I noticed this morning that I was frustrated and I didn't even think about drinking. Im getting used to having emotions and feeling them (as opposed to running from them).
