Kind of surprised at myself I've made it this far. Weird going to the grocery store and walking right past the beer isle. Especially in NH with no sales tax on alchol but I'm doing good! Looking forward the the tests that lay ahead with feeling confident I can pass them! Had a good evaluation at my job the other week and was told I will be getting a raise at the end of the month. With all this money I'm saving from not going out and drinking or drinking at home think I'm going to invest it into myself and get a gym membership. It will give me something to do and somewhere to go when I have to much free time on my hands or am feeling the need to want to drink or smoke. I hope everyone is doing ok! You guys are truly life savers! I'm hoping my next post on here is 2 weeks of being sober! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey Brad, congrats on Day 8. I bought running shoes with the money I'd saved. They came in on my day 8. Now I'm on day 11 and breaking them in. I feel SOOOO much better after I spend time with my running shoes than I ever did spending time with beer. Keep it up, you're doing great.

Congrats Brad, I'm on day 6. I feel great too. I went to 3 AA meetings this week. I like going. I'll catch up with you when we get to the 2 week mark
