Un-Hungover
Dear Newcomers,
I really hope you're letting SR help you.
I really hope all the positive posts directed
to you, are helping you.
I really hope, you sit back and let it sink in.
I really hope, you realize how blessed you've
been finding SR, something's directed you here
to help teach you, to help you grow in your sobriety,
to help teach you to live a healthier, happier life,
making good choices.
My new life, un-hungover, isn't perfect, I wouldn't
want it perfect, what would be the point then?
My new life, un-hungover, is peaceful, content.
My new life, un-hungover, is slowly teaching me
there's more to life, there's LIVING.
My new life, un-hungover, is helping me be the
best I can be.
My new life, un-hungover, is reaching out to you,
to show you, you can free yourself too.
My new life, un-hungover, allowed me to go for
a long walk on this beautiful spring morning. Nature
is the best!! I took it all in while I walked. I thought, if
I was hungover, I wouldn't have been walking period,
I would have been to busy wasting my life, staying home
to sick to do anything. To busy wallowing in self pity, poor me
boo hoo, lol, not a pretty picture.
My new life, un-hungover, has endless possibilities, the
sky is the limit.
My new life, un-hungover, has be taking a course in
college. Who knew!!!
My new life, un-hungover, is teaching me to LOVE myself,
that's not such a bad thing.
My new life, un-hungover, let's me come and go
as I please, it doesn't hold me hostage any longer.
My new life, un-hungover, needs to be nurtured daily.
No room for laziness, EVER!!!
My new life, un-hungover, is sharing pictures I took
while I walked early this morning.
My new life, un-hungover, had FREED me.
My new life, un-hungover, reminds me,
Life Is Precious
Life Is Good
Embrace It
Don't Waste It
I could go on here, forever, but I think you get
what I'm talking about lol
Have a blessed day. We've got some work to do,
don't we? Give up the fight, surrender.
That's what I did. I told it, "Ok, you win."
Now I have my life back, so can you.
