Thank you all. Just got off the phone with the intake nurse. She was wonderful. I was ashamed, as this is my second time at this facility, and the second intake with her. She told me to call her on my one year anniversary, and she would go to the meeting with me, no matter how far the drive. She is in recovery. How about that.

They have a bed and I go in at 11 am.

Best of luck to everyone. I don't ever want to go back to this hell. It has really been hell these past two weeks.

Exactly. That is why I am getting (safely) off this merry go round and getting sober. I understand See.

Change - It sounds like you're really ready this time. Such a helpful nurse - how great. We are all rooting for you and will be here when you can check back in. Sending love out to you.

See - I did that many times. It was exhausting and terrifying. You can end the cycle. We're glad you're here.

Great decision and if there is an opportunity for you to go to treatment after detox, jump on it

I just feel so much empathy for you both. Get up, dust yourself off and try again.
I wish you well ... Good luck, friends
