Great decision. It was the best decision I could ever have made. I have never heard anyone say they were sorry they got sober. Ever!!! Welcome to SR

Yes thanks so much well it's day one n had lots of withdrawal symptoms last night so now it's just facing the outside world sober !! I've done up to 3 weeks before n thought I could control it and drank on a night out and it all went soooo wrong
Then again 9 days then I had a argument n hit the bottle
So now basically back to square one after 6 days of consistent drinking !! I know I'll be so proud of myself after a month!

Good for you See. I think you will see amazing benefits as you get further into not drinking. Congratulations on your decision. Most everyone here is on the same journey as you are. Today is two months sober for me.

Good move to stop See.
Sometimes at the beginning it's don't drink even if your arse falls off!!
It gets better, as you know. The secret for me was when it gets better, get busy staying sober or it tricks you again.
S/R, AA, AVRT, SMART, loads of ways of moving forward, but move forward we must if we are to stay well.
Onwards....
