TOPIC: Teach Me How To. I Want To Learn From Ur E.S.H.

What do you want to learn today? By
sharing your own Experiences, Strengths
and Hopes with others and me, we can
learn from each other.

What is it that you wish to learn today?

Just like when we were toddlers learning
how to take those first steps, learning how
to walk, we had to learn from those, our
parents or guardians.

Their own experiences, strengths and hopes
was passed on to us to help us learn from
them. They encouraged us. They guided us.
They praised us. They comforted us. They
rewarded us. They loved and cared for us.

Their knowledge in teaching us how to
walk has taken us a long way in life.

What do you want to learn today?

Maybe it's on how to plant a flower/garden.

Maybe you need help on learning a new
language.

Maybe on how to change a tire. Or how to
cook a particular dish. Or, how to ask someone
on a date. Maybe, how to pray. Etc......

The same thing goes with learning how to
stay sober or clean. Just by sharing how
you did it, your own experiences, strengths
and hopes, can carry someone a long way
in their own journey.

What do I want to learn today? Hmmmm....

Teach Me..!!

Great post! I needed to become honest with myself about MY drinking in order to be teachable. Doing that helped me see my undisciplined practices in my desire to get sober. Another big one for me was to come to believe what kept so many sober one day at a time. Didn't like a lot of it but it works if we work it!

BE WELL

I want to learn more patience and less expectations. I think I have a good idea for the formula, but I forget to work it. Take a step back, breathe, and ask for guidance. I need to get out of myself. Stop with instant gratification. Stop taking things so personally. Breathe. Count. Ask. Today I want to remain teachable.
