book
Miss Vee, you crack me up. You remind me of the customers who come into a bookstore and want that book with a blue cover.
Well the technical answer to your question is The Big Book. It is free online.
However, the book that helped me understand my own role in my relationship with my qualifier was Codependent No More by Melody Beattie. it might be available right at a library or bookstore or I suppose eBook too.
Welcome!

Welcome Miss Vee,
As codejob noted, the AA "Big Book" is free on line.
Big Book On Line - Table of Contents
Not a bad place to start.
Once you get towards Alanon (for the Family and Friends of A's) or any of the other Programs, such as Celebrate Recovery, etc., they tend to have their own set of books.
You can shop Amazon.com under the search topic of Alanon
Robot Check
or go to a meeting, and they usually have spares for the meetings, or new books for sale, as well.
