2 1/2 Months Sober
Within the last week or so I have been getting EXTREMELY bad headaches. I know I am suffering from PAWS, but can't seem to find anything about headaches. Anyone have any experience with this?
Congrats on the 2.5 months! Quite an achievement!
One thing I've noticed since getting sober is that changes in weather REALLY give me headaches. I know you probably are getting some fluctuations in your neck of the woods this time of year. Has it been 60 degrees one day, and then next day it's 32? Or vice-versa? I know that in sobriety I've noticed an increased sensitivity to these things. Maybe that has something to do with it? For me, taking an aspirin or advil on those days helps, and once the weather becomes stable I feel fine again. Good luck.

Congrats on being sober. I had some headaches for a bit after a couple months. But there could have been many contributors. I suffer from allergies and wasn't getting much sleep.
But as others have said, talk to a doctor if you are concerned.

It is always best to see a Dr. It is easy to blame everything on PAWS, but in my case I had arthritis which I had self medicated with booze. Take the booze away and I had pain in my hands which I couldn't feel before because I was Effed up. I went to the Dr. and got diagnosed, got anti-inflammatory meds and not the arthritis rarely bothers me and when it does it is manageable.
So go see your Dr. and don't just write this off as PAWS.
