63 Days Today

Im so grateful to still be sober. Life is not perfect or always easy but it is always manageable when I don't drink. My precious grandson is 1 month old today and I have spent every day of his life sober and present. Thank you to all of you for your support and to everyone who posts here and shares their struggles.

Well done, you must be so proud. Life is so much better with a clear head although it is difficult in the first few months to adjust but it is so worth it.

Congratulations again

Thanks for an inspiring post. It sounds like being sober and present for all of your grandson's life can be a wonderful anchor on your path of sobriety.

I don't think life is ever perfect or easy for that matter. However, being sober, allows me to deal with those imperfections and difficulties as they arise. Otherwise they just pile up.

One month old What greater gift can you give him/her than being an example of a sober family figure.

Congratulations on 60+ days. That's a huge accomplishment!
