Time is killing me
Time is killing me
I sit reflecting
I feel the end has begun
It seems my days now mirror the setting son
So many places that I've been
This ride that was so long
Seems so short of now and then
For all that has been
And all that is
All that's to be
Lord , I'm just killing time
And time is killing me
I feel the end has begun
It seems my days now mirror the setting son
So many places that I've been
This ride that was so long
Seems so short of now and then
For all that has been
And all that is
All that's to be
Lord , I'm just killing time
And time is killing me
I exchanged my pathetic life into
a responsible member in recovery
and family. It's a healthier, honest
gift we can give to ourselves and
those around us.
Becoming Responsible in all
my affairs. My life. My family.
My recovery.
You can too.

Still drinking? Don't have to answer, but if it's yes then it's normal you feel down. I was at the same place not years ago, days ago. Got Sober on April 1. My thinking pattern changed from night to day. No BS. This stuff will suck the life out of you without a care. It's a depressant, not on the first few, you feel high, like you can do anything... But when you go down, you go way down. Why not gather up your courage and try? 100% of people here will tell you the same, they are way happier and positive sober.
I'm not saying everything will be peachy, but not as dark as the pits of hell we feel when we drink.
Hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you need. But STOP talking down to yourself. Get mad if you need to, that's what worked for me. I was mad at the bottle and watched a couple of videos from the 300 movie.

Submission, that's going to be a bit of a problem...
Replace the Persian character with your addiction, the by-standers with your family and the Queen with your wife.
When you say time, feel what is going on in his mind when the wind blows and everything slows down.

An old song...

Answer.
That you are here—that life exists, and identity;
That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse.
