Next step in my recovery

Hmm I am 35 days sober as of today, so the next thing which I am going to do get slowly get my body and mind back in shape. And it will be a challange because I haven't exercise with a purpose in mind in a long time.

So today I began stretching I was going to give myself 5 minutes but it turned into 9 because it took longer to get my muscles used to stretching again. I didn't go as fast as those on the videos because after all they have been doing it awhile and these are MY workouts. So I'm working them my way. Loosing weight is a perk, but the goal is to work out at least 5 minutes a day and limber muscles that are tight.

Admins if this is in the wrong place would you let me know or move it to the right place? Thank you

That's a great decision.

And, good for you for listening to your body, rather than someone else's plan.

I'm embarrassed now. I bought yoga videos about three weeks ago. I listened to the meditation once but didn't do any of the practicing yet.
You're doing much better than I.
