New to this site

I am just coming off of subutex 8mg a day. Its been 50 hours since my last dose and just a little of the sweats nothing more. I have been thru this before but always gave up not this time I am tired of being held hostage.. I think this time it is different because I have the right state of mind. I need all the support I can get because I am very scared. I have been taking pain pills for 4 years and just started subutex a year ago but I want to be free of it all. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome! I don't know anything about subutex or pills, but we have a forum just for that. Here's the link. I hope you find it useful.

Welcome to SR , Blue! While I don't know this from personal experience, going cold turkey after a year of 8mg of Subutex a day seems like a big sudden jump, based on what I have read. Can you work with your Dr to plan out a taper over a month or two, or whatever is professionally recommended? I assume your Dr wants to get you off the subs, too, and would help you with this?

You have indeed found a place when you can find support and people who will listen during difficult times. Being listened to can really help. Best of luck!
