Howdy, Dave. Beer and vodka are my problem too. You are in the right place if you are looking for support and understanding. And you can learn a LOT by reading these various threads too. You are not the only one.

I also was a beer and vodka drinking. Seems to be a pretty combination here. Sometimes to ease my guilt about the vodka, I would mix it with orange juice so I would feel that at least I was also drinking something that was good for me. LMAO!! You have definitely come to the right place for support. Been on this site for over two months and love it!! Keep posting to let us know how you are doing. We care.

Beer and vodka did me in too.
I used to just drink beer, but when beer didn't get me to where I wanted to be, vodka entered the picture. From then on, it was a slow motion train wreck.
This website, along with AA has helped me get my life back.

Welcome Dave, glad to have you here. I was also a binge beer and vodka drinker every night. Good to see you are making an effort to stop the madness. Congrats on the 6 days clean.
