This just really struck me this morning. I wonder how many had tried to dull their problems with addiction first? Sometimes the more I look around me, I am quite despairing how people are treated in the USA. We don't seem particularly united. The collective has fallen to the rise of the individual. Each of these flags represents a fallen individual, but we here on SR know how that flag also stands for those left behind - family, friends, coworkers, spouses, & kids. I hope some are able to truly get help and break the cycle.
