Feel ill

Woke up this morning with an awful headache my eyes are stinging and my stomach is in knots! And I feel rather shakey, could this be withdrawals ? I'm on day 5 again but not felt too bad until today ! Meh maybe I have a bad cold!

Could be withdrawal.
But,the stinging eyes doesn't seem like it.
Maybe just a cold.

Way to go with 5 days!

It takes a long time for our bodies to overcome all the damage we've done. 5 days could still be withdrawal, but it could also be a cold or just about anything really. If it's concerning you quite a bit you could always go to a walk in clinic or see your doc.

your cold may be due to your immune system trying to heal....most of which is in our digestive tract.....guess what alcohol messes with? Besides our sleep cycle, it's our digestive tract/immune system.....

I agree with Sugarbear. Drinking lowers your immune system and you could (temporarily) be prone to more bugs. I had withdrawals for months. And honestly, (side note), it took me about 8 1/2 mos. to not want to drink again / not be as tempted to drink.
