Oh dear

Wasn't paying attention and I scarfed down half a sleeve of Girl Scout cookies just now. OMG!! But then I checked out the calories, and they were roughly equal to half of a bottle of wine. So now I am feeling a little smug 'cause of my sobriety. And a little sick from so much sugar, truth be told! :-).

Better to have cookies than to have wine!

I put on 42lbs with sobriety in the first year . I've lost it all now though .

It's probably best not to do what i did , but if it's what you need to get you through it's the lesser of two evils IMHO

Bestwishes, m

No one can blame you for what you did to that box of girl scout cookies, especially if they were Thin Mints. I am pretty sure that the serving size for those is one sleeve. You're fine.

"Were they made from real girl scouts?"

Thanks for reminding me. I just opened a big jar of chocolate covered almonds. I picked it up today because it's been a few weeks since I scarfed down this nonsense and felt the urge.
So by the time I read this post I am on my fifth hand full of CCAs.

Pieces per serving - about 11

Calories per serving - 160

800 calories in about ten minutes! No wonder my wife is worried about my belly! Weird thing is that I thought a beer would be nice just before I hit the chocolate. Spooky huh?

Recently ordered 8 boxes. After giving two away, I went through the rest like it was crack...Just saying

Thin mints? Samoas? I don't dare buy any, they'd be gone in a flash.

There's only about 15-24 cookies in a container today....just don't bake a double batch and keep them at home, I did that.....

Keep moving forward and stay stopped!!!!!

I see I am not the only one to fall victim to Girl Scout cookies. Eat on, SR family. :-)

I've not been too concerned with all the sweets so early in my sobriety, but this is my last week in IOP so I'll be starting back at the gym next week. Hoping to lose a little extra poundage from all the beer I drank!
