My little ah ah moment for today.

Maybe everyone knows this but me, but I've realized that if I am truly honest with myself about my condition, alcoholism, then I must accept responsibility for it. It is impossible for me to drink if I am 100% honest with myself about my condition.

So the question is will I remain honest with myself, or will I sweep it under the rug so I can drink. I think I'm waiting for 10,000 ah ha moments until it equals up to sobriety, but this is BS. Not drinking no matter what is the bottom line.

Good job. It's hard to be honest when our AV is so sneaky trying to convince to have one drink or that we don't really have that big of a problem. Honesty and acceptance are very important in sobriety.

Being honest with yourself is hugely important to your recovery.
