Day 3, depression starting to fade

Despite another sleepless night I can already feel the benefits, My thoughts are more optimistic. I did some housework yesterday visited a friend I hadnt seen in ages, took the dog out to the lake. I hope this gets better.

Congrats on 3 days in, that's an important milestone! It will definitely get better now that most of the physical withdrawal is over. You're doing the right thing engaging in simple activities you enjoy. Keep it up!

Thanks for your kind words. I think I had depression for decades. I was always timid I suppose. When I was a kid people called me "docile", got bullied, mocked etc. That all started the years of drinking. I know if Im to succeed I have to address the undelying problem. But for now Ill just stay sober.
