You have nothing to gain by drinking that beer but everything to lose.

chilledice...you can look back through your old posts by clicking your name beside your post and accessing the drop down menu...

go back and read how you felt when you drank last time.
Dump the beer.

Amen.

Drinking won't make things "better."
Never has. Never will.

I had three beers here (that husband bought and had leftover). My options were: keep them here and be tempted, prove to myself and King Alcohol that I am powerful (I'm not), throw the beer away without opening it, pour the beer down the drain, pour the beer down the toilet where it belongs.

I chose the toilet. Felt awesome.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Drinking that beer is like giving Dracula a blood transfusion. Once you wake that devil up, there's no way that son-of-a-b!tch is going back to sleep.

So let him rot in hell!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Great idea to come here and keep yourself busy with other things, but you still need to dump out the beer now. It will be too tempting and it has no use for a sober person such as you.

Good that you're drinking water, but seriously, you must dump out the beer. Your home should be your sanctuary, free from all threat.

1 is too many and 16 isnt enough. You know this old saying for us drunks.
Why are you testing yourself. We have enough triggers in our day to day life without teasing ourselves. Test yourself by not buying just one beer. How does that sound.
Dump it now! Eat your curry, go for a walk with your friend. Go to bed. Tomorrow is a new day.
