Hi, i'm Mattycur and i'm an addict
Great day to be clean, even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it. I'm new to this message board, just looking for new ways keep recovery interesting. BTW I put this thread in the wrong section, I apologize to the admins.
For an addict who consistently relapses, I need to break the cycle of insanity and look for new ways to keep me in the solution. I work a strong program on a daily basis, and I have a sponsor who knows the literature inside and out of both programs. NA (freedom of hope) Port Alberni is a small struggling group who meet 4 days a week, which I attend regularly. AA Port Alberni meet twice a day regularly, and consist of Drug Addicts and Alcoholics. The town struggles with the personalities and seem to put them ahead of the principles.
I'll be logging in a semi regular basis and looking for that message of recovery and i'll be happy to share my experience, strength and hope with anyone willing to read it. "We keep what we have by giving it away"
