I miss my beer buzz!!!!
9 Days in and I can honestly say that I do miss my beer buzz!!! I miss it pretty bad too. Usually the witching hour starts around 4pm. I wish the feeling would go away. But I cant stop thinking about having a Big Ass Glass Of Ice Cold Beer!!!!!!
I'm not going to, but just wish the thought and the feeling would just go away!!!

I used to wish my red wine haze and then I came to appreciate not having it all the time. Being aware of so much around me freaked me out initially but then I got used to it. Congrats on your 9 days...that is huge!!

Im trying!!
I was drinking for so long, 2 years straight without a day off, 12 to 18 beers a night, I think I just have gotten use to it. Usually around this time, I would be about 12 deep.
But it's just a feeling, it will pass and hopefully over time, I wont feel for it anymore.

If you could have stopped at at 1 ice cold beer a night there might not have been a problem. Think it through that you would drink 12-18 and the trouble it caused you. I always visualize that I want to get plastered and not have one nice relaxing drink.

I keep asking myself, "do you really want to start all over again"? Do I really want to go through those first four days, feeling like s$$t? Is that one beer worth it, cause I know it won't be just one beer. I don't know what the future will bring, but for now, I am just not up to putting myself through that again. If you are really honest with yourself, as hard as it is, you know where that one beer will lead to. I hope you don't give in. It's just not worth it.
Try some of these tips Hunter

If you have trouble at a particular time of day do what you can to change your routine around a little?

This is romanticizing the drink. I do this too. Just keep playing the tape to the end and you will remember why you quit.
I know for me, that nice one-beer beer buzz was like 20 years ago. I never stop after one and it goes downhill from there.

Ya build up a habit over numerous years, you can't expect to turn it off like a light. Pavlov made the dogs drool with the bell, you're gonna be the same thing when 4 PM rolls around for a few days. It'll get better if you keep trying to get better.
Stick to it, you're doing good.
