Friends and Family of the Everything Addict
Yes, it seems like a "do you really want to send this?" prompt would help me a lot! I'm always on my phone and just realized all of the cool little pictures I miss because I see them as colons with words. Yep, I guess I'm old. I thought I was cooler than this.
Now I'm thinking I'm way off track from my real post. It was going to be a crabby one and now I'm actually having fun. Gotta love SR.

Oh, yes, the 'everything' addict. My sister and my stepson would qualify under that. Sister is a recovering alcoholic and powder cocaine addict. My stepson is an alcoholic, crack addict, and .... well pretty much anything he could get his hands on!
Oh, and my phone only gives me my voice mail messages when it wants to...which is rarely!

LOL. Turns out I'm just old. I was listening to Everclear on the way home one day and their AM Radio song came on.
**The VCR and the DVD
There wasn't none of that cr-p back in 1970
We didn't know about a World Wide Web
It was a whole different game being played back when I was a kid**
DS: What's World Wide Web?
Me: It's the internet, kiddo. WWW = world wide web.
DS: Was there internet when you were my age, mom?
Me: Nope, sweetie.
DS: What's AM radio?
Me: It's like the FM radio stations we listen to when I don't have the iPod plugged in. Except I think it uses shorter frequencies or something. It's mainly just local. I think AM radio used to be the only type of radio.
DS: Oh.
**I remember 1977
I started going to concerts and I saw the Led Zeppelin**
DS: You listen to Led Zeppelin, right, Mom?
Me: Yep, one of my favorites.
DS: So did you get to go see their concerts in 1977?
Me: Ah man, kiddo, I wasn't old enough.
DS: But, you were alive then right?
Me: Yep, I was.
DS: That's OLD, Mom. No internet and Led Zeppelin...
*Giggle* Old, old, old, old, old...
Me: Little Dude... you stink. *giggle*
DS: *Giggle* old, old, old, old
