feeling sad,need to talk left my husband after 17 years,
my husband has been a acholic all his life he is 60 years old now, iam 53, i finally left, dont know if i could handle it. he is being negative and drinking alot i feel he cant beleive i left, i miss him, i had to leave my home, i miss that too, iam living with my daughter for this pass week i never did this before for this length of time i dont want to go home and i do, i know it will be the same old thing. he does not want me to go home unless i pay the household bills, he just wants to pay the rent. i always felt like a room mate.

Come on down to the Al Anon Forum and let us get to know you. It sounds like you have been through alot...leaving after that long has got to be so hard. Hang around and make yourself at home. The coffee is always hot around here and we would love to get to know you.
