Day 3

Hi my name is Annie and I have been fighting this for 3 years and it's just getting worse and worse. I have 3 children who I have put through hell. I can't do it any more so I have to put in my all this time no matter how scary it is. I never want to go threw the last 3 days of detox that I just did again. In the past detox has never been that bad. So I'm 3 days sober and looking forward to waking up sober tomorrow.

Hi Annie, welcome and well done on getting thru to day 3. God bless our children, we couldn't live without them but unfortunately they make no allowances for when we are feeling sick, upset or run down or tired - it means nothing to them and life just continues to revolve around them (as it should when they are little). It is not easy I know but we will all help you through it as best we can at SR.

3 days is a huge accomplishment. I remember how horrible it was - we can never go back there again. You have a good attitude and I think it will help to be here where you can share your thoughts. You're never alone.
