Well, this came out of nowhere
Hey,
I know the feeling. I get these quite a lot.
I know it sounds ridiculous but try and stay calm and breathe. (Breathing exercises really do help). It will pass. Stay strong you will get through it. Try and have a walk round the house or outside maybe? Anything to try take your mind of it helps me.
We're all here for ya

As per your other thread from last night, Aarryckha, dissociative states are often accompanied by panic attacks and other forms of anxiety. Sounds like you're getting a lesson in why so many people stop trying to get sober in early recovery.
Well, the good thing is that I know that drinking isn't going to make it any better, in fact, make it worse.
"This too shall pass."
And it did.
Thank you for all the support everyone!

I have these panic attacks too and just try to breathe through them. I have been sober for two months and it gets so overwhelming sometimes! One thing that is nice is that I now come from a place that is clear minded! I am taking my power back and speaking up and no-one is left off the hook when they can't say "oh she's just drunk" anymore!!!

I deal with anxiety /panic attacks as well. When I read your other thread about the dissociative feelings it reminded me of the feeling I would get before or after a panic attack. For me identifying it for what it is helped and knowing it will pass.
For me breathing techniques help, exercise, caffeine free tea
I also talked to my MD to confirm thats what was going on. They are few and far between now.
It gets better keep going!
