Thanks Katel- this has been a great journey! I'm awake now because of a stomach ache but normally I'm feeling amazingly well. Potato skins didn't agree with me tonight:-(
How long have you been sober? I now get that one day at a time thing. I used to make fun if if. But if you look past the day you are bound to relapse.
Tonight was the first night I went out to dinner without drinking. My husband was a bit anxious since he had diet coke with me. The bill for 3 people came to only 36.00. Normally it would be over 75.00 with the alcohol. Awesome! I wanted to walk around afterwards and was able to safely pick up my son from his trip. Before I didn't even try going out. The question still remains how do I tell my drinking friends why I'm not drinking? I don't want people to know, but I guess their support may be a good thing....but still it's none of their business!!!!!!!
