Diaease voice beast
When i craved it i found it best to get on with something useful and positive in my life . If i'm craving i may as well use the time productively rather than sit and wallow in it .
Sounds like a meeting is a good idea .
Keep on

Liss...there are a lot of people here willing you on..going to meetings and then waiting for the day 3 cravings to hit isn't doing it for you. You seem to be going round in circles and addiction has got you in its clutches.
Time for something different maybe. Have you found a sponsor? Started moving through the steps? Thought any more about rehab?
The longer you do this dance with the devil, the harder it is to break free.
Thinking of you x

Goodonya, Liss74. You passed your first test, you didn't drink, and this makes you an official badass!
You described a 'beast voice' in your post, it's something that some folks call their 'addictive voice'. You are recognizing it as something that is separate from you, now that you have decided to quit drinking. It certainly goes against what you want for yourself, doesn't it?
You might find the idea of 'addictive voice recognition technique' to be very very helpful to you. That was EXACTLY the concept that I used to get and stay sober, and lots of other folks have used it to get and stay sober too. There is a forum here at SR called Secular Connections that is all about AVRT and other non - 12 - step ideas about sobriety.
This thread is one place to start with AVRT.
You can do this, Liss74, you can make your choice and you can succeed. You deserve a life without alcoholism and you can have it.
