A bit of good news
A bit of good news
Well I'm only 4 days (ish) but I thought I would post some good news about becoming sober in that time.
I have lost 1.5kgs (3lbs approx)
I have saved around $270 (no taxi fares, no alchohol, buying raw food items)
I have eaten 4 more home cooked meals
I have eaten 4 home prepared lunches
I have cleaned the house
I have started to tidy the garden
I am still early days and there are many days and emotional scars to heal but it's just amazing how much extra TIME I find I have. I guess this is what everyone is calling one of the gifts of sobriety.
Thanks to everyone here this is a really special place I am SO GLAD I found it!
