Physical Difference from Quitting

I have to say I'm shocked at the change I've seen in only four days. My skin is clearer, my eyes are bright again, my eczema has cleared up completely. I'm sleeping THROUGH the night (something that NEVER happened before), having dreams again, have my appetite back, am being productive....I'm shocked that this has happened in only four days!

If this happens in only four days (drinking lots of water and exercising too) I can't wait to see what happens next!

Glad to see you are still going strong. I hear you, I got a great night sleep last night, woke up and head breakfast b/c I was not hung over. The itchy spot on my hear I used to scratch all the time is going away. I have drive again at work!

I'm glad you're doing well.

When I stopped drinking, I realized how much in denial I was about how the alcohol was affecting me.

The amazing capacity of the human body to heal itself...

The amazing capacity for humans to kill them self with addiction.

Good job btw!

Yeh physically you will feel better but also your mental health improves over time. Alcohol might give you temporary euphoria but as we all know it comes with a heavy price. Its been 7 months and it is just great to appreciate the simple things in life - feeling in control and just more at ease.
Next step is smoking but one day at a time!

Congrats lawgirl!! I have been noticing changes too. My head is certainly not clearer (I have been having some trouble with anxiety and an inability to focus, plus wonky emotions) but physically, I have noticed a change after only 6 days. It is encouraging!

Keep it up!
