Exhausting day
I started out my week by completely exhausting myself. I got up very early and drove a long distance to get to an AA meeting. Went to that. It was a HUGE meeting. I wouldn't be surprised if there were 75 people in that meeting. I did not share, too overwhelming for me and so many hands went up I felt like I should just listen. But, I did get some numbers.
I followed that by going to a gym for a couple of hours, doing intense cardio. Then I drove a long distance again to go to a Lifering meeting. Lifering is another recovery group and this was my first time attending it. There were 7 of us in that meeting and I did share but the format is very different than AA.
So, 2 meetings and a long cardio session (plus about 4 hrs driving time) just flat out wiped me out. I must not have the energy I used to. I will not drink tonight. Don't feel like it at all either (thankfully!!!).
