Well i got through the weekend without drinking but it was the most difficult weekend out of the past 4. Its not that i was madly craving alcohol or that my AV was playing with my willpower its just that i was constantly surrounded by alcohol and people drinking.
If these people were a social group, work colleagues or even friends i could find a way to avoid being around them (at least for now) but they are in fact family who i love and want to be around. I guess its my issue to deal with really and so far so good, but its a tricky situation this one!

Yeah, it will feel somewhat unnatural for a while to be the guy in the room who ISN'T drinking, but you'll get used to it.

(Funny how it never bothered me to be the only guy in the room who was drinking...)
