I'm not feeling well. Is it from withdrawal?
I just got over the flu/bronchitis. This is my last day on Levaquin, which is a whole adventure in and of itself.
But I'm really not feeling very well. I have dizziness -- kinda sagged a little in the shower, a little vertigo moving around, and no energy.
I'm wondering if this is still the flu or the drugs or if it's part of getting past the alcohol? The reason I'm wondering is because I noticed today and yesterday I had a little tremor when I woke up. I didn't have that anytime during the past 36 days, so it's either a *delayed withdrawal* thing, which -- actually I've never heard of it, but it's possible -- or I'm still sick or it's a reaction to the drugs.
What do you think?

delayed withdrawal -- don't think so
if you have a doctor available a call to his nurse will answer your questions
they may recommend that you come in for a visit (never hurts)
I wish you well

Hi,
I was having problems with my balance especially immediately after getting out of bed for atleast 1-2 months after quitting. I though I had inflicted permanent and significant injury to my hindbrain with my drinking. These days I have minimal vertigo and balance is not perfect but has kept improving.
Anhedonia was absolute for a few months, I felt no joy at all but it is improving as well.
I've heard stories of how some feel alot better within weeks but that wasn't my case. Perhaps you are abit like me and improve slower rather than faster?

I have *such* low energy and not a thought in my head. This has gone on for about ten days, I thought because of the flu. I keep thinking, well, it's not a hangover and frankly I've managed *amazing feats* with a massive hangover for just years. I didn't expect to feel marvelous but I did expect to improve on the hangover mornings and the mental clarity, and I expected to experience this improvement *every day*.
It could be that I just poisoned myself to the point that this is not going to be a one month long physical recovery.
Bummer...but then if it's this bad after 36 days, the next thought is, how bad would it be if I started drinking again and "tried" this a year from now?

I am also new medatrix. Glad you posted because I had just questioned withdrawl symptoms. Although I haven't had any, it was good for me to read. I will be here for the journey...
Hope you feel better soon. The flu can take a toll on your body, hope that is all it is.
