When I finally sobered up in AA I needed to hear certain things like "Easy Does It, One Day At A Time, Keep Coming and don't pick up that first drink even if your arz falls off.

BE WELL

Welcome! I also had a serious relationship end right before I got into rehab. It was pretty painful coming out the other side sober, and realizing that I couldn't get her back even though I'd completed the program. Two years on, I'm pretty happy that I was able to take some time to work on myself as opposed to a relationship in early sobriety.

I think you'll find some great support here.

Welcome thoutman!

This place has really helped me through the thick of it.

Congratulations on your decision! I've really enjoyed most aspects of sobriety....it's very liberating to be free from the ball/chain of alcohol.

Best of luck in your journey.
